Umashankar Ramon was born in a Hindu upper caste (Brahmin). His elders taught old small age that he was a god, and that to realize his divinity he must practice yoga and meditation. He as a raw teenager [teenager], Ramon began to wonder if He could really find God through the various idols worshiped in Hindu temples [Hindu].
Ramon began studying the Bible and the claims of Christ. He had always respected Jesus for His humility had, but now Ramon heard that this Jesus claimed that he was the only begotten Son of God. And he noticed that many Christians seemed to have a peace that meditation was for many years failed to produce. Still, Ramon was determined to find truth in his own Hindu religion.
But then he saw a film on the life of Christ. For the first time he realized that Jesus had experienced suffering and fear as a human being. Before that he had thought that in some way he had used his divine power to escape the pain of crucifixion. But now, he could not explain the cross. Alishangaaa wondered: Was-how is that he can go through immense suffering like that - for sinful mankind?
Ramon continued to meditate on Christ's death, he was overwhelmed by kudhihrishwa in love like that. Decided If you throw away his position very coveted by the people of Brahmini [upper layer of the Hindu] and to give his life to Jesus, his Savior. In comparison with the sacrificial love of Christ, Ramon said, "Everything else just fell to pieces anything."
Mbrahmini the boy had noticed the essence of the truth of Christianity: Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
1. Which Religion Saves?
Jesus is the way - the only way - to salvation.
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12.
The Bible clearly teaches that we are lost in sin, and so we suffer the penalty of sin: namely that death (Romans 6:23). All have sinned (Romans 3:23), so all face death. Jesus is the one - the only one who can save us from the curse of sin.
"Everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day" - (John 6:40).
There is only one true religion:
"One Lord, one faith, one baptism" - (Ephesians 4: 5).
2. Will God has a special message for our day?
Yes! The mission of the three types is found in Revelation 14: 6-16. announcement of the message given by three angels meets the peak time of the second coming of Christ (verses 14-16).
First Angel's Message.
"Then I saw another angel flying in the sky with the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation, tribe, people and language and all colors. He said in a loud voice," Fear God and praise! For the time has come for him to judge. Worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water "- (Revelation 14: 6,7).
Although the Scriptures reveal an interesting picture of the three kinds of messages through the example of the three angels, saints are mainly members wautangazao for the whole world. Hawahubiri new gospel, but "the eternal gospel" to the world mzima- that is, to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. "Everlasting gospel" of Christ is the same message of salvation that people in the time of the Old Testament accepted "by faith" (Hebrews 3: 16-19; 4: 2; 11: 1-40); the same teaching that Jesus Himself proclaimed; the same gospel that has thundered down through the centuries of the Christian era.
Gospel was simple, saving Jesus Christ almost vanished from the church for more than a thousand years during the Dark Ages (Dark Ages), but the Reformation (Reformation) revived it, and God's people preach it around the world today. The first angel proclaims this same gospel message, but I'm preaching in a new direction - that is, the whole world - for people living just before Jesus' second coming.
Those who accept it find themselves called to "fear [a] God and give him glory [reflect His character]." They show the world God's character of love, not just with words, but also by their lives of dynamic witness. They offer a thrilling revelation of what God can do through people who are filled with the Spirit of Christ.
These are called when the three angels' messages in the whole world? While at the "judgment [God] has come." Guide 13 explains that Jesus began the work of judgment beforehand of his coming in the same year, ie, 1844, Jesus inspired people around the world to begin preaching the message of Revelation 14.
This message calls us to "prostrating [a] he made the heavens, [and] the earth" [Revelation 14: 7]. God asks us to "remember the [a] on the Sabbath [t] to keep it holy" because "in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth" (Exodus 20: 8-11). In 1844 he was given Darwin theory of evolution [happen by chance all things], God was calling people back to worship Him as the Creator. At the very time, those who preach the message of the three angels found the seventh-day Sabbath of God's word, and they began to care for kumheshimnu Creator of Heaven and Earth.
(2) The message of the second angel.
"The second angel followed, saying," Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all nations drink the wine of her fornication maddening. !! - Revelation 14: 8.
The second angel warns says, "Fallen is Babylon the Great." Revelation 17 depicts the "Babel" spiritual - that is, apostate Christianity - as an immoral woman (Verse 5). She stands in contrast to the pure woman of Revelation 12 who represents the true Christian church. The woman who represents Babylon is a fallen woman [transgression] who "made all nations drink the wine of her fornication maddening." The wine of false doctrine has permeated these adulterated forms of Christianity. The message of the second angel calls God's people to resist the false teachings of the apostate Christianity.
Babylon represents a mixture of many forms of apostate Christianity. It is very dangerous because you corrupt the image of God and as puppets [idol funny]: that is, is that God is the avenger and the many claims you make him as our father, loving, who is too good to be able to harass anyone on sins. A healthy church will present a balanced picture of all God's attributes and show how His justice and mercy embodied by the truth that God is love.
God calls his people says "come out" of Babylon (Revelation 18: 4), wants to turn away from the teachings based on the Bible, and then act on the teachings of Christ.
(3) The third angel's message
"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which imemininwa in cup his anger mixed with water. he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and before the Lamb. the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. the people who worship the beast and his image and receives the mark of his name, they will not be no rest day and night. So should the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus and patience "- (Revelation 14: 9-12).
The message of the third angel you split the whole world into two groups. On one side stand the rebels Christians [ie, who do not follow the teachings of the Bible] hu who "worship the beast and his image and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand." On the other side stand those who reject the authority of the beast, ie. Those "saints who obey orders [ten] God and remain faithful to Jesus."
Note the difference between the two opposing groups. Those who receive the mark of the beast worshipers who yalegeza terms of faith who follow the human-made ideas and seemingly as suitable with practices. "Saints are these characteristics zinazowatambulisha:" perseverance, "obedience to" God's commandments "and" remain faithful to Jesus. "
After the threefold message broadcast around the world, Jesus will come to "vun [a] those who are saved:
"Then I looked, and behold a white cloud there. And on the cloud was there one like the Son of Man. He was wearing a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. And another angel came out of the temple, and a loud voice to him that sitting on a cloud, "Please, use your sickle and reap, because the harvest has come; yameivaa harvest of the earth ". And he was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped" - (Revelation 14: 14-16).
3. The Church of Christ's Last-Day
Is Christian has been fascinated by powerful, stable, and marveled that he hath zeal in worshiping God, his patience and his faith, and longed for a spiritual experience similar to that? God gave his special message for our day in Revelation 14 because it can bring life experience like that.
As discussed in guide 25, Revelation 14:17 identifies Christians in these last days that are "those who keep the commandments [ten] of God and have the testimony of Jesus." Revelation 14:12 describes the group's information that it is the "holy to him."
Let us summarize the characteristics of last-day Christians.
1. They "have the testimony of Jesus." Even Satan poionyesha his anger against them, they "remain faithful to Jesus." Their faith is not based on their own life is a gift from God (Ephesians 2: 8). Church of God in these last days linamwona Christ in His true character and by grace through faith they become living monuments to the power of Christ inayoshuhudia indwelling.
2. They have "faith .... Of Jesus" (Revelation 14:12, KJV). His faith to Jesus, that is, the faith he taught, the faith that He lived, must now fill their hearts. Hawanayo only the truth, they "keep" the truth - that is, they follow. Religion is life, belief is correlated with practice, and faith is coupled with obedience. In their lives might point out "the faith of Jesus." They have discovered that the great teachings of the Bible, when used in their daily life, produce a powerful Christian life. They have found that these great Bible really awaken a love and devotion to Christ, which meets the need and longing of the human heart.
3. "Wanazitii command [ten] of God" - The Ten Commandments, that is, the moral law of God. On top of all these other things are all he desired to obey God, to obey his every command. They show their love for God and their love for others to observe all the commands [ten] God, with the fourth calling us to worship our Creator by honoring Saturday, that is, the seventh-day Sabbath.
4. They share the message of "the eternal gospel" throughout the world (Revelation 14: 6). Gospel proclaims that Jesus died for our sins, and then rose from the grave so that we might be the church of Christ in these last days has been referred to as people everywhere from religious confusion and build a relationship with the truth of the Bible alone.
5. Driven by a sense of urgency because "at the harvest has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe" (Revelation 14:15), and millions have not yet seen Christ.
6. They give of themselves completely carry out the mission given to them by God. Because "Babylon the Great" is fallen, they plead with those living in religious confusion, "Come out of her, my people" (Revelation 18: 4). They desire to tell others about the wonderful relationship they have with Christ, and appreciation for each other.
All this and more yanaiunganisha hearts of millions of Christians in these last days are called by the message of the three angels to come. Their life of joy leads them to join the apostle John in extending this invitation:
"What we saw and heard, so we chowatangazieni yourselves, that you may join us in our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. We write this that our joy may be full" - (1 John 1: 3,4).
Through His Spirit and through His church, Jesus invites you also to come and surrender everything to Him:
"The Spirit and the bride [church] say, 'Come! And who hears say,' Come! ' Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. ". - Revelation 22:17.
4. The Two Harvests
The three angels' messages culminate when Jesus returns to earth to harvest the saved of all time (Revelation 14: 14-16). Jesus
He gathers all the saved and takes them in the "many mansions" in heaven (John 14: 1-3, KJV). He removes sin, sickness, sorrow and death. Saints begin new lives very good time with him forever (Revelation 21: 1-4).
Jesus will "reap also the coming of the wicked".
"Then another angel came out of the temple of heaven, having a sharp sickle. Then another angel over fire, came from the altar, and said in a loud voice to the angel with a sharp sickle," Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because its grapes are ripe! "and the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and the vine of the earth, and threw them into a large container to press the grapes of the wrath of God. grapes zikakamuliwa into the winepress outside the city, and blood came out of pressure it flows deep to reach the horses' bridles, about two hundred kilometers length and three "- (Revelation 14: 17-20).
This will be a tragic time of eternal annihilation event of Christ is very sad, because he must destroy those who refuse to be saved. Jesus "is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3: 9).
Jesus comes to reap the harvest of the country, are you'll be in harvest what? Is Will you stand among the ripened grain with the redeemed of all ages (Revelation 14: 13-16)? Or will you be the edge of the ripened grapes of wrath, the lost? (Verses 17-20).
The thing is clear. On one side, he stands arms outstretched nail outstretched to you, he may urge you to stand with the "saints who obey orders [ten] of God and have the faith of Jesus" (verse 12). On the other side are the voices of mere human beings, urging that obedience to the entire Bible and to all the other commandments [ten] God worthless.
The crowd in the courtyard of Pilate's judgment was faced with something strikingly similar. On one side was Jesus, a divine-human conditions, namely, God-man. On the other side was Barabbas, a man without any power at all, that is, unable to help himself or those in the crowd who witnessed the tragic event. But, then, what words of Pilate yalipovuma command in a group of people with different characteristics, saying, "Which of these two do you want me to set free?" Many voices are those zikaunguruma angrily, "Barabbas!"
"So," asked Pilate shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ? "
With one voice the crowd likapiga shouting, "Let him be crucified!"
And so Jesus, the innocent whatever, was crucified; and Barabbas, the guilty, and he went away loose. (See Matthew 27: 20-26).
Is Who you choose today, Barabbas or Jesus? Will you choose to follow the thoughts and teachings composed by humans that are contrary to the commandments [ten] of God and contrary to the eternal gospel of Jesus? Or do you want to "obey orders [ten] of God and keep it [m] faithful to Jesus?" Remember, He is the one who promised to send His Holy Spirit to solve all your problems, heal all the heaviness that you have in your heart, and satisfy your every longing.
